Walking Route
Fuenmayor - Sierra Magina
Leaving the picnic area Fuenmayor this walking route takes the slightly uphill road to the south-east which after a very short while becomes a track. The walk passes through areas of holm oak and cultivated cherry trees.
After a kilometre the waterfall of Zurreón can be seen flowing at certain times of the year. At the second kilometre milestone there’s a panoramic view of Torres and the Sierra.
Following the footpath a little further you’ll find Fuente Nita a drinking fountain, climbing slightly the area of Cerro del Pajarillo opens up with a more densely area populated with pine, holm oak and maple.

The fifth kilometre brings you to Monte Agudo, a refuge amongst the tres for many different species of mammals.
The sixth kilometre is the most abandoned part of the route where it’s a little more windy with white homestead spread throughout the view.
An uphill stretch takes you up to the eighth km where the path crosses with the road to Torres which will take you 3km back to the Fuenmayor.
