Tapas Book Review
Tapas a Bite of Spain
by
Janet Mendel
This tapas book review looks at Tapas a Bite of Spain by Janet Mendel.A book which will most definitely tempt your taste buds and get you into the kitchen to test some of the recipes out.
Spanish gourmets, foodies and lovers of Spain will enjoy this book. It has great photographs by the well-known photographer based in Malaga, Michelle Chaplow, who travelled from the north-west Spanish/French border down to the Atlantic Ocean coast of Jerez to capture the mouth-watering photographs in this book. It hard to choose which to try first so I'm going for them all. Tapas a Bite of Spain is nicely presented with an easy-to-follow recipe lay out and wipe-clean glossy pages for those sticky finger prints that inevitably (for my anyway) find their way into the pages. "I love tapas...." says Mendel in the introduction and you can tell. Over 140 tapas recipes are crammed into this gem of a mouth-watering book. Mendel also covers what drinks to serve with the tapas and includes a choice of wines and recipes for alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks. So get testing and tasting some bites of Spain.
