Jaen province is a lesser known area of Andalucia yet within its 13,496 km2 it offers diverse scenery, a wealth of culture and history, two UNESCO cities, the highest production of olive oil in Spain, the largest Arab baths, the best Iberian museum collection, one of the best castle hotel´s in Europe (according to TripAdvisor) and Spain´s largest Natural Park. The tourist board have named Jaen "Paraiso interior" or inland paradise - it lives up to its name.
Jaen province borders with the provinces of Granada and Cordoba to the east, south and west. In the north it´s border is the autonomous community of Castilla la Mancha and the provinces of Ciudad Real and Albacete.
