Golf Courses in Andalucia
There are so many golf courses in Andalucia that the coastal section of the Costa del Sol has been nicknamed Costa del Golf.
The really good thing about them all is not the price or standard but the great climate of Southern Spain with an average of more than 300 days of sunshine a year. You'd have to be pretty unlucky to miss more than a day or two of play on a week's holiday.
Many of the courses have been designed by champion golfers and are championship courses such as Valderrama Golf course at San Roque - Sotogrande the home of the Ryder Cup.
To be spoilt for choice Marbella is a good base with 50+ courses in a radius of 60km!
Some of the courses are busy, some not so, some courses are rather expensive with green fees over 250€ others are much cheaper at around 40€ for the green fees.
