Costa Tropical Granada
Costa Tropical Granada
This part of the Spanish costas in the province of Granada goes from the town of La Herradura and beach of Playa de Cantamijan to La Rabita and Playa La Rabita.
Located between the Costa del Sol of Malaga and the Costa de Almeria it gets its name from the subtropical climate which average 20c and boasts 320 days of sun a year. Due this climate one of the important economies here is tropical fruit.
Lovely sandy beaches and rocky coves frequent the Costa Tropical with its 103 kilometres of coast. Beaches and coves are sprinkled with towers and fortresses as the sea look-outs from the times of the Moors.
The main towns along the Costa Tropical are Almuñecar, Salobreña and Motril.
