Cordoba PatiosThe dates of this vibrant fiesta vary each year, this year (2008) The Cordoba Patios Competition El Festival de los Patios took place in the second week of May. This competition has been running since 1918 and just gets better every year.
Get some comfortable walking shoes on and a map from the Tourist Information Office and explore the windy cobbled back streets of Cordoba. The few days that these private patios are open to the public and for judging has to be the best time of year to visit Cordoba. Make it a whole month's visit and you can enjoy the May Crosses Fiesta, the Patio Festival and the annual Feria all in one month.
