Coast of Andalucia

The Coast of Andalucia

The southern coastline of Andalucia is divided up into four coasts or costas even though there are five provinces that have some coastline.

The Andalucian coast is more than 800 metres long and consists of mainly sandy beaches with some rocky coves towards the east in Almeria, they begin and end with the province border

The Costas of Andalucia

This is their location from the Portuguese border on the western coast to the autonomous community of Valencia to the east.

Costa de la Luz - takes in the provinces of Cadiz and Huelva

Costa del Sol - is the coast of Malaga Province

Costa Tropical - is the coast of Granada Province

Costa Almeria - is the coast of Almeria Province
