Chocolate Belen in Rute A Belen or Nativity scene is common throughout Spain, many private homes have a tiny scene to a whole room laid out. Many people spend hours or even days on their Christmas Belen, but what about chocolate belen which takes four months to create. That's has long it's taken the team in Rute to create the 52 metres square belen that contains 1400 grams of white and dark chocolate.
Quite a feat, but not an edible treat. The exhibition is open at the factory Galerros Artisanos de Rute on Carreterra Lucena- Rute km 18,350.
