Camping in Andalucia

Camping is a huge part of the Spanish culture and masses of Spaniards leave the cites for cooler grounds in the summer. Bank holiday weekends also see a mass exodus for the numerous Natural and National Parks.

There are many muncipal campsites on the edge of towns and cities and many privately run, more rural sites.

Camping alongside the Spanish can be a noisy affair and especially in the summer months as families may not sit down to eat until 11pm or even later.

So although the campsite brochures may say it's a peaceful area, your neighbours may not be.
