Balloon Flights in Andalucia

There's no better place to experience Hot-air
balloon flights than in Andalucia. A wide range
of destinations are on offer from the more humid
south-west corner of Arcos de la Frontera to the
arid desert area of Tabernas, Almeria in the
south-east.

Andalucia offers excellent flying conditions throughout the year, and it’s very rare that bad weather will prevent your flight.

Hot-air balloons usually take off into the calm early morning air around 8am, subject to meteorological conditions. The whole flight experience starts with your arrival at the chosen launch site, unloading and inflating the hot air balloon.

Depending on wind direction, different launch sites are used to be able to cover the area or city chosen.

Once the balloon is ready you’ll float off with the wind. The flight time is about 1 hour, but the whole experience, travelling to the launch site, preparation, flight, landing and packing off balloon plus your typical Andalucian breakfast with cava (a Spanish sparkling wine)and your flight diploma presentation takes between 3 and 4 hours.

Visibility is normally excellent and balloons are a stable enough platform to take memorable photographs of the incredible experience. Gloventosur and Balloon Flights Spain offer flights over the cities of Arcos de la Frontera, Cordoba, Granada, Seville, the glorious countryside of Guadix and Ronda also desert of Tabernas.

Seville from the air

The sheer scale and beauty of Andalucia observed from above creates lifetime memories, it's just the choice of flight location which is the most difficult part of the whole adventure. On clear days the Mediterranean Sea and across to the North Coast of Africa can be seen.
