There's no better place to experience Hot-air balloon flights than in Andalucia. A wide range of destinations are on offer from the more humid south-west corner of Arcos de la Frontera to the arid desert area of Tabernas, Almeria in the south-east. Andalucia offers excellent flying conditions throughout the year, and it’s very rare that bad weather will prevent your flight. Hot-air balloons usually take off into the calm early morning air around 8am, subject to meteorological conditions. The whole flight experience starts with your arrival at the chosen launch site, unloading and inflating the hot air balloon. Depending on wind direction, different launch sites are used to be able to cover the area or city chosen. Once the balloon is ready you’ll float off with the wind.
