Almeria Airport




Almeria Airport is small and modern and is just 8km east of the city, itīs the third most important of Andalucia’s airports after Malaga and Sevilla. If your destination is the Costa de Almeria, this is the best spot to arrive.

Low-cost Flights

The low-cost airlines that fly here from the U.K at present are EasyJet, Jet2, Ryanair and Aer Lingus. From other European airports Air Berlin fly from Germany and Austria and Jetair fly from Brussels.

Most of the flights into this airport are national flights by Spanair, Air Europa and Iberia, they offer good connections from Barcelona and Madrid.

Public Transport

Buses - There is a bus that runs from the airport to the city every 30-45 minutes between 7am and 22.30pm on weekdays these are less frequent at weekends and public holidays.

Taxis - There is a taxi rank outside arrivals hall and the fares to the city should cost around 20 euros.

Car Hire - There is plenty of choice of car hire and the companies that have desks inside the airport include Europcar and Centauro.
